Inkstorm Silkscreen Collective at the Halifax Crafters Winter Market

Here's our table which was overflowing with shirts, tea towels, napkin sets, posters, prints, cards, patches, bags, etc. All the work was done by different members of Inkstorm, a collective of screen printers who share a common space on Almon Street in Halifax. It was a wonderful busy weekend to be a part of, only now do I have time to catch up and post pics!

Prep work for the Halifax Crafters Winter Market

November and December 2016 have been wonderfully productive. I was selling my silkscreened products again at the Halifax Crafters at our Inkstorm Silkscreen Collective Table and it was so busy for Xmas. I felt very lucky to have been there, soaking up the great vibe of the season and doing some fundraising for Inkstorm as well. Spent many hours cutting and screen printing and serging the edges of these super soft winter napkins but so worth it!

Spring Fair Artwork, Grade 6

For the past couple of months, I've been volunteering at a local elementary school to create some artwork to auction off for fundraising at their Spring Fair which just happened yesterday. I worked with each class and each student made their mark somehow on each canvas. Also, a similar project to one I did last year with the Grade 6's, except instead of pinning them to a board like specimens, this year the butterflies are flying away to grade 7.

Spring Fair Artwork, Grade 5

Each jar contains a whole world and story.
