Shibori is a Japanese style of resist dyeing in order to create patterns onto fabric through stitching or binding the fabric before dyeing. I use Indigo dye as well as a range of other natural dyes such as Logwood, Turmeric, Acorns, Avocado, Marigolds, Brazilwood, Iron, Cochineal, Madder and Purple Cabbage. Different fabrics yield variations of colour.

Fading over time is natural but avoid bleach, anything acidic and direct sunlight to keep your colours a long time. Machine washable (mild detergent and cold water is best.)

Also note: Colours may appear slightly different in these photos and on your computer screen that the real thing.
