Handkerchief - Shibori Pattern- Hand Dyed with Acorns and Iron
Miya Turnbull uses Shibori binding techniques to create the pattern on this fabric. This is dye is made from boiled acorns which is over-dyed with an Iron solution. Note that: colours will vary from piece to piece due to the hand made nature as well as vary with photos and computer screens.
Cotton/Linen blend (55% cotton/45% linen). Machine washable with a mild detergent and cold water. It is normal for Natural Dyes to fade or change over time. To keep your colours lasting as long as possible, avoid bleach, anything acidic and direct sunlight.

Use this fabric piece as a hankie, small napkin or towel or as a starting point for a creative endeavour such as embroidery.
